Jacob Elsen
Major: Biology
Hometown: Kennet Square, PA
Sailing Experience: Jacob has sailed small craft at his lake house in Wisconsin. He also enjoys getting new people out on the water.
Fun Fact: He thinks that frostbiting (sailing in the winter) is just as fun as sailing in the summer, maybe more.
Vice President
Morgan Reeves
Major: Communication Media Studies with Spanish
Hometown: Orono, MN
Sailing Experience: Morgan was the Orono High School sailing team's co-captain and social media manager. She is also a 4-year varsity letterman. In the summers, she coaches pram and kinder sailing at Wayzata Sailing.
Fun Fact: She shoots film photography!
Secretary
Tamara Watson
Major: Physics with Secondary Ed
Hometown: Innisfail, QLD, Australia
Sailing Experience: Tamara is a boat kid! Her parents met sailing around the world and for most of her life, she has called SV Jasmine her home. Even though she’s more used to playing a smaller crew role on a larger boat, sailing Sunfish and windsurfing are her favorite activities.
Fun Fact: Tamara is graduating and getting married this May, but will still be around as a grad student for the MAT program.

Jediah Giller
Major: CFM
Hometown: Charlotte, NC
Sailing Experience: Jediah was introduced to sailing by his grandmother. He enjoys sailing small boats for fun
Fun Fact: He runs hurdles for the track team.
Faculty Advisor
Dr. Steve Park
Major: Ph.D. in maritime history of the Atlantic World
Hometown: Simsbury, CT
Sailing Experience: He was the Club Advisor for the University of Connecticut's sailing club. He also has worked with the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School in Maine and the HoneyRock Navigators’ Program in Wisconsin.
Fun Fact: Dr. Park, his wife, and his three kids attend(ed) Wheaton College. Both Dr. Park and his wife work at the college, and he says that "we are kind of all in!"
